All help on KEEP CALM is free, for everyone, forever. Every article, every translation, every crisis pathway, the full poster bank, the full music bank, and the Calm Companion. No account is needed to read, listen, share, or print. Nothing that is free today will ever move behind a payment.
What is always free
- Every article, in every language we publish. No login, no limit.
- Every crisis pathway. The crisis ribbon, the Get Help Now page, and helpline links are never gated by anything, ever.
- The poster bank and the music bank. Browse, play, share, and print freely.
- The Calm Companion, with a free account. Its safety limits exist to keep people safe and are never for sale: we will never sell more companion time, and we never raise its caps for money.
- Your account rights. Favorites, data export, and deletion are free and always will be.
- Custom creations, a real monthly amount of them: every free account can make 5 custom posters and 2 custom songs each month. This free allowance is inside the guarantee: it can grow, it will not shrink.
The only thing money adds
KEEP CALM is a nonprofit funded by donations. As a thank-you, supporters get a larger monthly allowance of custom AI creations: personal posters and songs made from your own words. These are creative extras that cost real money to generate. They are not help, and they are never the price of help.

A poster made from your words. A song that is yours. That is all a perk is: a keepsake and a thank-you, not treatment, therapy, or a health product of any kind.
How a gift works, plainly
- A one-time gift includes 30 days of its tier's allowance. Amounts in between round down to the nearest tier; a gift under $15 is a pure donation. Repeat gifts stack another 30 days.
- When the 30 days end, your account simply returns to the free plan of 5 custom posters and 2 custom songs a month. Never to zero.
- Everything you create is yours forever. We never lock, watermark, or take back a creation, whether or not you ever give again.
- A one-time gift never becomes a subscription. Nothing renews and nothing is charged automatically, period. Monthly giving is its own separate choice with its own clearly labeled consent, never a pre-ticked box.
- Monthly giving, when it opens, cancels in one click from your account page or from any email we send. No phone calls, no retention offers, no questions. We send renewal reminders as California law requires, and refunds are granted on request without argument.
- Prefer no perks at all? You can decline them and your entire gift is tax-deductible. Every receipt for a gift with perks states their fair value and the deductible remainder, as the IRS requires.
Never for sale, under any future model
Safety features of any kind. Crisis routing. The Calm Companion, its memory, or its usage caps. Articles and translations. Your data rights. If a feature protects a person, it is not a product here, and our fundraising will never know or use anything about what you read, write, or feel. Supporter messages are timed only by calendar dates, like when a gift window ends.
